Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the SafeCore application, website, and related services. By installing, accessing, or using SafeCore, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Service
SafeCore is a consumer security utility intended to help users review device protection status, privacy exposure, and setup progress. SafeCore may present security recommendations, alerts, monitoring information, or subscription-gated tools, but it does not replace professional security advice or guarantee a specific outcome.
2. Eligibility
You may use SafeCore only if you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms in your region. If you are using SafeCore on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, SafeCore grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, lawful purposes. This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the app, software, trademarks, or related content.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use SafeCore in violation of applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
- Interfere with app infrastructure, security features, or service availability.
- Misrepresent your identity, subscription status, or entitlement to use the service.
5. Feature Availability
SafeCore may change, improve, suspend, or remove features at any time. Some features may be available only on certain devices, operating systems, or subscription plans. Availability may also depend on third-party systems outside our control.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
Some SafeCore features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Billing, renewals, refunds, and payment handling are generally managed by the platform through which you purchased the app, such as Apple’s App Store. You are responsible for reviewing platform billing rules that apply to your purchase.
7. No Security Guarantee
SafeCore is designed to help users improve protection, but no application can guarantee complete privacy, perfect security, or prevention of all threats. Recommendations, alerts, and setup indicators are informational tools, not absolute assurances.
8. Third-Party Dependencies
SafeCore may depend on third-party systems, including device APIs, app store services, hosting providers, analytics tools, or remote security data providers. We are not responsible for outages, inaccuracies, or failures caused by those external systems.
9. User Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use SafeCore, for decisions you make based on the app’s outputs, and for reviewing any warnings, settings, or subscription information shown in the app. You remain responsible for your own device maintenance, backups, and account security.
10. Intellectual Property
SafeCore, its software, visual assets, branding, content, and related materials are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the service except where applicable law permits it.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
SafeCore is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free performance.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of SafeCore. This includes, without limitation, damages related to data loss, missed alerts, interrupted access, subscription disputes, or reliance on app-generated guidance.
13. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to SafeCore if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, misuse has occurred, or continued access would create legal, technical, or security risk. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
14. Updates To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above. Your continued use of SafeCore after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
